it's been a reeeeaaally long time since i've last posted in my blog. i don't know if this entry would still be read by my friends who used to visit my site regularly. but please, please read it. this post would be all about updates in my life for the entire 1st term of my stay in la salle. read my post because i have to regain my fans. hehe. :)
ok. i won't promise you that my entry's going to be organized because according to my title, this would be aimless posting. i would write whatever comes into my mind. :)
my 1st term in de la salle university generally made me contented (and thankful?) that i chose la salle over ateneo. to those who don't know, my 1st choice was ateneo. well, i didn't have a choice, i didn't pass ateneo. haha. BUT now i see why god didn't make me study in ateneo. "hindi bagay ang pretty girls dun, at mas maganda kung madadagdagan ang population ng pretty and smart sa la salle." my ateneo friends, just kidding. naku, lumalabas na ang biases ko. hehe.
college life for me made me relax and unwind. despite the pressure of having trisem for one schoolyear, i can say that truly, there's more freedom when you're in college. first, everyone knows that the schedule is much more flexible compared with highschool. and i guess every 4th year highschool student looks forward to college because of this reason. second, you get to go to malls more often. haha. hindi ako bulakbol for your info, it's just that there's lesser load and less homeworks (except my accounting subject of course). because of this, i am much more updated with movies compared when i was in highschool. third, i get to practice my commuting skills and sense of direction. because of my flexible schedule, i get to go anywhere i want. commuting also trains me not to be scared and understanding of people around me (note: jologs, mga nakakatabi sa jeep na mga sobrang pawis, people who talk really loud, vendors who force you to buy whatever they sell, streetchildren stalking you for about half a kilometer just to have your wendy's frostie or mcdo french fries). fourth (and one of my favorites), i get to go out during breaks to choose where i want to eat. unlike highschool, you have no choice but to eat in the cafeteria EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR ONE WHOLE YEAR. or in my case, for 11 years because i studied in st.scho that long. lastly (another favorite), NO UNIFORMS! with this, everyone can express their individuality. i can wear whatever i want to wear whenever i feel like it. (but help, i'm running out of clothes! :))
in three days i would be taking my first final exam. my first final exam in la salle. accounting pa ang nauna. aaah. accounting's fun, but it became "un"-fun because the prof accidentally assigned to us wasn't really teaching freshmen. yan tuloy, napakataas ng standard nya. half of our block would be repeating accounting next term. god forgive her. as for me, i don't know if i'd repeat or not. hehe. 50/50 ako. (please lord, let me pass!) even if accounting gives me a headache (or migraine or brain cancer), other subjects give me comfort naman. i'm happy right now because i was exempted sa finals in relsone (or religion) so i'm not going to school on wed (whoopee!). buti pa my prof sa relsone, nang-eexempt. my math grade's really nice too. even if i don't take the final exam, i'd still pass the subject. yehey. indeed these things are blessings from the lord. thank you po father god. :)
i don't know how to end this entry kaya ganito na lang. :)
