hey hey. my LEAP day went FLOP day. wasn't able to go to school today. why? because simula pa end of the week last week i've been feeling the "almost there" lagnat. kaya decided to take the day off and rest. kasiii. sino ba may kasalanan na ang hectic hectic ko? haha.

sayang nga lang, i enrolled for the PHOTOGRAPHY class. pffft. oh well.

yay. james and ching have already signed up for the DOP application! yihee. :) go guys, being a DOP has its joys. haha labo. masaya talaga, promise. :) impress us and the staff! hehe. if you need help, i'm here to back you guys up. wag lang yung dirty inside job..nyahaha. :p

since i was here lang sa house the whole day, i was able to at last do something i haven't done since i started going to school last januart after the christmas break. what's that you say? it's to watch tv for leisure. yep, that's right. as in yung bum ka lang na nanonood. kasi when i watch tv ngayon, i'm not completely focused on the show, kasi either gumagawa ako ng homework, paper, or kumakain. something to that effect. pero kanina, i was able to watch one dvd movie. i was able to watch tim burton's the corpse bride. :) victor, the main character has the voice of THE mr. johnny depp (and now i hear ching screaming). hahaha. :p the movie was so nice. at least for me. kasi i can relate at least. hindi dahil may bride/groom akong patay na, hahaha. it's just that i loved the idea that the topic of true love as well as unrequited love (ouch) were able to be incorporated in a supposed to be "for kids" movie. the movie can really be watched by people from all ages, kasi nga as i've said, cartoon siya, pero if you look deeper, may meaning behind all the fun to listen to musicals, big-eyed thin-legged characters and interesting representation of the underworld. :) sa mga hindi pa nakakanood, watch it. promise natouch ako. true love requires great GREAT sacrifice. sa totoo lang natamaan talaga ako sa movie, ang kulit. hahaha.

so..tomorrow is valentine's day. what could be in store for me? :) haay.

today was the last day for our DO relstri and relsfor lecture. grabe, kapagod pala talaga pag paulit-ulit sinasabi mo! haha. kasi for each class, you have to repeat and briefly discuss the most important rules and regulations of the university tapos yung activity proper pa. my first day of assisting and co-facilitating was okay pa, kasi first time. pero dun din yung super kabado. but as i handle more and more lectures, mas nawawala yung kaba. a very good training, indeed. :) sobrang nakaka-boost ng confidence kasi you have to talk in front of a class tapos majority hindi mo kilala. add to that, mostly were older than me. lalo na pag relsfor, puro 3rd year and 4th year na. hehe.

my experience was, there were some classes na talaga namang active and participative. todo kung magtanong parang wala nang bukas (hehe pero that's good at least mas nagiging interactive), meron ding mga kinacareer yung activity. enjoy mag-co-facilitate pag ganito yung class. but, there are also classes na walang ginawa kundi tumitig lang sayo. ito yung nakaka-ilang na class. hehe. yung salita ka ng salita tapos sobrang tahimik lang nung class. haha. at least hindi maingay, mas hindi ko kaya i-handle yun. the classes i handled were from the college of business&economics, liberal arts, science, and engineering. of all those, engineering yung pinaka-na-enjoy ko. hindi dahil boys okay. haha. wala nga akong nakitang gwapo eh. it's just that sila yung pinaka-accommodating and active. :) basta per college, mapapansin mo talaga yung "culture". hehe.

for my last lecture which was kaninang 1140-1240 (coz i also had another nung 1030-1130), grabehan na ito! actually hindi naman talaga planned na kay ms. nhing (a DO staffer) ako mag-aassist, nangyari lang yun because my co-DOP, jess, ay nag-cancel for some reason. so she texted us kung sino pwede. since i don't have class ng 1140-1240 kanina, pumayag na ako. to make the long story short, sinabi sa akin ni ms. nhing na ako na daw mag-handle lahat! yep, as in EVERYTHING! from the introduction, to the lecture, to the activity proper, ako lahat! eeeh dapat co-facilitate and assist lang ako eh?! haha! kinabahan naman ako kasi i would be like a prof for one whole period! since hindi na ko makahindi, oo na lang. hahahah. gudlak sakin.

on my 1030-1130 lecture, everything went well naman. ako lang naman nagdeliver nung lecture e. then, 1140 came. doomshour na. hahaha. ms. nhing was just there nakaupo sa mga chairs, tapos ako na bahala. pfft. hehe. FYI, relsfor yung i-hhandle ko. mga ate at kuya po. haha. so there i was, simula sa prayer down to the evaluation, ako ang nagsalita. ms. nhing was there to address some questions pag hindi ko na alam yung mga sagot. hehehe. :) so in short, for one full hour i was in charge. yeeees. hehe. grabe, before the class started, naisip ko baka in 30 minutes lang tapos na lahat! pano na yung 30 minutes?! hehe. but no, i was surprised sa sarili ko that i was able to use the whole hour! walang labis, walang kulang. naaaks naman! haha! this is my blog, kaya masarap pumuri sa sarili. hehehe. but of course, grabe hindi ko magagawa yun without my lord's help. talagang before i started, i prayed a short prayer. and, effective! sobrang everything went well. :) surprising talaga, kasi when i have my speech classes dati, pag 10-minute speech ang hirap na e, kasi parang masyadong mahaba yung time. ubos na sasabihin ko, pero wala pang sampung minuto. but this one, i was able to deliver for one hour! whew! hehe. :) kaya nga sobrang great training talaga.

ms. nhing was so impressed sa mga nangyari. sobrang puri talaga, paulit-ulit. she was surprised kasi that i was able to handle everything on my own. hehe. and i was so happy, kasi ms. nhing was the most OC, expecting DO staffer in our office. haha. :) yay. :)

now that the DO relstri and relsfor lecture is done, DOP recruitment week naman next week. woooork again. but if you have passion for what you do, you'll never be stressed.

as for me? i know i have this GREAT passion. :) i've finally found what i really love to do, that is, serving others. :)

simple highlights of my week (so far):

dalawa lang naman naiisip ko ngayon, kaya yun. hehe.

DO rels lecture last feb6, tuesday. - naglecture po ako together with ms. joey and DOP benz sa engineering section. so far, yan ang pinakamasayang class na na-lecturan ko. napaka-welcoming. haha. bawat banggit ng pangalan ko, pinapalakpakan ako. bwahaha! tapos nakinig sila sa lecture ko, in fairness tumahimik sila. hehehe. :) tapos nachika na naman ako, at tawag ng iba sa akin ay ate kahit ako'y ID105 lamang at sila'y mga ID103 at ID102..haha. :D ang makulit pa dun, pagbalik namin sa DO, chineck ni ms. joey yung evaluation forms, at na-surprise kaming lahat sa sinabeng strength at comment ng isang student. sa strength, ay "beautiful speaker" daw. hahaha. si benz tinutukoy dun, hindi ako :p hahah joke. tapos sa comments ay "go JON!!!" ang nakalagay. hanep. hahaha. thank you kung sino ka man. you made my day. :)

physical exam with micko kanina, feb7, wednesday. - actually boring talaga maghintay sa pila, pero nabuhay kami nung nasa pila kami kasi may paper na pinapass na ilalagay mo name mo and all other info about you. para siya sa xray. yung kaharap ko sa pila ay korean guy, tapos ako, tapos si micko. after magsulat ni korean guy sa paper, binigay na niya sakin. so nagsulat na rin ako ng info. pagdating sa birthday, nakita ko ay APRIL 29, 1988 din siya. tapos shempre sa ilalim nun ilalagay ko din APRIL 29, 1988 kasi yun naman talaga birthday ko. tapos nakakatawa pa dun, si micko din ay APRIL 29 ang ilalagay. 1987 nga lang. hehe. pero ang kulit, tatlo kaming magkakasunod same ang birthday! napaka-coincidence eh sa dami ng nagpapa-physical, talagang magkakasunod pa kami. baka isipin nung magccheck nung paper ay barbero kami kasi same kami lahat ng birthday. :D haha. ^_^

yun lang naman. ang kulit eh. :p

CHALLENGE: FINISH READING MY ENTRY. HAHAHA.

FIFTH WEEK OF SCHOOL. today was my stress day! whoa sa exciting talaga. hahaha! :) nevertheless, happy pa rin si jOn kahit stressed out. this is what makes me happy right now, workaholic na nga raw ako. i never expected that i'd be labelled as one dahil kilala ko sarili ko as more on the tamad side..hehe. :)

weeell, tagal ko nang walang kwento update entry dito, dahil nga over sa busy e! pati nga my super friends james and ching (si alex out of this world ang sched compared sa aming tatlo kaya sa isang subject ko na lang siya classmate at nakakasama!) ay hindi ko na rin masyado nakakasama during breaks! on the go si jo! hehe. usually once a week ko na lang sila nakakasabay sa mga break kaya nga awwww sobrang namimiss ko 'tong mga peeps na ito! :) don't worry guys, next week na ang DOP recruitment! pa-impress ha para pag natanggap na kayo sama-sama na tayo sa pagiging busy! mwahaha. :D

sobrang antukin ko talaga. nung saturday, i did my homework (well, not really. more on DO work) the whole day." wow ang sipag ko" na lang ang nasabi ko sa sarili ko. haha. then nung sunday, i was out the whole day kasi of course, church. and then after that, i attended a convention pa at the intercon hotel. ok siya, in fairness. hehe. i won't go into details na kasi gagawa pa ko ng homework, i just decided na mag-update dahil ang tagal nang umiikot sa utak ko yung sinabe ni chingy na ang tagal ko na daw hindi nag-uupdate! hahaha. :) o diba napaka-incoherent ng entry ko? pasensiya na sabog na talaga ako e. hehe. anyway, san galing yung 1st sentence na "sobrang antukin ko talaga."? hehe dami ko muna nakwento bago ako makarating sa kwento na to. anyway kasi in short, wala talaga akong rest time nung weekend so when i went to school nung monday, promise sa OA ang sakit ng ulo ko at sama ng pakiramdam ko. ayun. i made it through the day naman (umokei na nga ako nung nagpunta ako sa DO, stress reliever kasi talaga mga tao dun, laging masaya :D), pero pag uwi ko talaga, kahit wala pa ko nagagawang homework ay natulog na ko. from 530 PM to 730 AM ako natulog! walang patid! haha! sarap ng 14 hours of sleep! panalo. :) kaya naman rejuvenated ako nung pag gising ko! :)

basta yun! haha. kwento ko naman stress day ko today. sobrang pagod din ako kahapon (lagi naman ako napapagod nowadays grabe talaga ang workload, pero walang reklamo! sabe ko nga ito ang nagpapasaya sa akin ;)), eh sobrang daming homework for wednesday which was kanina nga, so kagabi i decided na matulog na ng midnight then gigising na lang ako ng 3 am. nag-offer ang aking good friend na si marco na siya daw ang alarm clock ko. tatawagan nya ko pag 3 am na. hehe. sa kasamaang palad, hindi siya nagising. bwahehe, good thing, i set my own alarm din. nag-alarm nga, pero sa kasamaang-palad ulit, hindi ako bumangon. bwahehe. sarap matulog talaga e! :p bumangon na ko mga 7:20 at naligo ng mga 8 (kasi tinuloy ko yung iba kong homeworks), tapos by 8:30 off to school na ko! 30 minutes lang! record yun! usually more than one hour ako e..haha! i needed to get to school early kasi tatapusin pa yung ibang homeworks. so dumating ako ng 9 am at nakipagkita kay kimi! in short, napasa ko lahat ng homework ko for the 1st period (screw econtwo, ngayon lang! dami homework na binigay!)! 920-1020 yung econ ko.

meron pa kong homework na hindi nagagawa for the day: MY ENTRES1 RESUME. umaga pa lang nammroblema na ko kasi hindi ko na alam kung saan isisingit yung paggawa nito! malalaman mo kung bakit. :p

1030-1130, nag-DO lecture ako together with ms. jen. kaya hindi ako pwede gumawa ng homework! nilecturan namin for the day was NO1 relsfor students a.k.a. COS students. so shempre, mga medyo iba ang aura..haha weird talaga bat ganun. :p pero oks lang, may mga chumika naman sa akin. may cute pa sa class at kasama sha sa mga chumika sa akin ;) hahaha. kaya chingy, kung gusto mo lumawak ang crushie network mo, mag-DO ka na! hahaha!! :D

1140-1240, fabuman class ko naman. yan ang least hectic subject kasi buong subject nag-discuss lang. uupo ka lang at makikinig at magrrecite. pero shempre, nammroblema pa rin ako kung pano ko gagawin yung entres1 homework ko, kasabay pa nun, magpapa-physical exam pa pala ako dahil last day na namin AT may general assembly pa kami sa DO! at iisa na lang ang break ko, yun ay ang Ubreak from 1250-220. so pano na?!

my fabuman class ended at 1230, so i decided na sabay na kami ni micko magpa-physical exam. kala ko kasi mabilis lang na tipong 1pm tapos na kami kasi 1 pm nga may general assembly pa ko at being the DOP secretary (oo, na-promote ako, hindi na ko member lang kundi officer na naaaks haha), kelangan ako magttake ng minutes of the meeting. kaso nung nasa clinic na kami ni micko nafeel kong hindi ko magagawang makarating on time. so nagtext na ko kay ms. jen na ipaubaya na muna nag pag-take ng minutes sa iba kasi nga hindi ako makakarating on time. nga pala, ibang cell pa gamit ko kasi nung umaga sa sobrang pagmamadali, naiwan ko pareho kong fone! hehe! tapos before or after (hindi ko sure kung ano ba talaga) the GA, may pic taking pa ang DOPs para sa tarp na ilalagay sa booth sa recruitment week. so habang nagpapa-physical ako, iniisip ko na sayang baka hindi ako kasali sa pic and of course, my entres resume! haha!

2pm na ako natapos sa physical exam (anak ng tokwa 1 1/2 hours yun!), after that direcho takbo na sa DO! pagdating ko, naka-DO shirt na sila lahat, ready na ready na sa picture-taking! pagpasok ko na-excite sila kasi ako nal ang pala hinihintay! awww sobrang touched ako hinintay nila ako!! love you guys! hehe. :D konting discussion na lang naabutan ko, then after that direcho na kami sa yuchengco to have the pic taking. :)

after the pic taking, balik na ulit sa DO dahil 220 na! finish na ubreak. siyempre, may isa pa kong unaccomplished mission: ang aking entres homework at 230 sha due! dahil mabait si ms. jen, pinagamit niya ko ng computer niya at dun na ko gumawa ng aking resume! after that, takbo ako sa medrano sa SCOOP to have my resume printed. :) dumating ako sa entres class ko mga 5-10 minutes before 3 pm na ata! haha! pero at least pumasok diba?! naka-submit pa ng homework! ;) after nyan, last subject na, comcalc tapos uwi na! woohoo!

napansin nyo ba na hindi ako kumain? hehe.

yan lang naman ang stress day ko! :D kewlness. :)
