this has to be the most valentine-y valentine's day i have ever had. :)"valentine's day aren't just for romantic partners, but also for every person who gives love and receives love as well." for almost two weeks, my bestfriend rachel and i had been planning a valentine's day date just for the two of us. of course, bestfriend-ship is also counted as one thing that could be celebrated on valentine's day. so both of us went to greenbelt 3 just to spend time together and booond. :)  with bestfriend on vday = sweetness. :) shempre, us being typical mapili girls, we had our dinner date at fuzion cafe in gb3 at around 7 pm when in fact we arrived at makati at about 5:45 pm. we can't decide where to eat but we both had in mind that what we wanted to eat is something italian. we literally looked at every resto/cafe in all floors of gb3. nakakapagod pala 'yon. haha. towards the end of the collect-and-select phase, we both wanted to eat at italianni's. problem was, italianni's isn't located at gb3. starving to death, we didn't want to look for the resto so we both agreed to eat at fuzion cafe where they sell pasta, meat, smoothies and pica-pica food. it was also quite funny though why we chose fuzion cafe as our dinner date venue. the said cafe had cushion seats where you can put up your legs and sit in an indian sitting position. also, they had nice tables with lava lamps as their centerpiece. na-attract kami ng sobra 'coz both of us had hurting feet already. rach wanted to sit comfortably without looking impolite kase nga nakataas ang paa mo. i, on the other hand, found the lava lamp decor really nice and it seemed like a mood-setter. but we ended up having only cushion seats. tumakbo pa naman kami when we saw the table with the lava lamp vacant (not all tables had the lava lamp decor) yun pala ni-reserve. hehe.  foood. finalleh. for our dinner, we had the potato platter (potato mojos, potato wedges, potato balls) with garlic cream sauce, garlic chicken alfredo (pasta with white sauce with yummy yummy yummy grilled chicken), mango blast smoothie (strawberry & mango) and south peach (mango, lychee, & peach). i tell you, sa lahat ng nakain namin wala as in wala kahit isa na hindi masarap. heheh. so i suggest you guys eat there. big serving pa. :)  ooohhh..sooo full..can't..breathe.. haha. grabe sobra nakakabusog we had large tummies after eating. we wanted to stay at the cushioned seats and lie down there till we fall asleep. ahaha. pero shempre hindi pwede 'coz my dad was already waiting for us near landmark to fetch us. rach & i finally met up with my dad then we fetched my mom. it was sweet that my dad gave my mom a valentine's gift considering my dad isn't fond of giving gifts kasi tamad bumili ng gift yun. hehe. :) balentayms na balentayms talaga. :) my valentine's day didn't end after rach & i had gone to gb3. shempre may pahabol pa yan. exciting. haha.  aaaw.. :) nag-house crash sha sa bahay namin. it was already about 9:30 when he arrived. kasi he knew that rach and i had our date so gabi na kami makakarating sa house.
the story was funny. ang kulit. :)
when dad, rach and i fetched mom at her office, i went out of the car to greet her. when i gave her a kiss, she told me in a surprised-puzzled tone, "oh bakit di pa kayo umuwi? pupunta daw si lj sa bahay ah?"
ME: huh? diba sabe ko lalabas kami ni che?
MOM: oo, pero nagtext si lj sakin eh, dadaan daw sha ng bahay bibigyan ka daw ng flowers.
ME: aha! ok. i smell something fishy..
hehe. si momi talaga. accidental-surprise-spoiler.
pero meron pang storya yan the day before. :)

LJ: lalabas kayo ni che tomorrow noh?
ME: yup! shempre magddate kami.
LJ: so mga anong oras na kayo uuwi nyan?
ME: i duno, maybe mga gabi na rin yun. but not so late kasi may pasok pa the next day.
LJ: ah. ok. sayang may surprise pa naman sana ako. contratahin ko sana mom mo eh punta ko sa house nyo para pagdating nyo ni che galing gb3, pagpasok mo sa room dun na yung flowers and stuff.
ME: aaw ang daya mo pinlan mo yan alam mong may lakad na ko eh! (thinking 'sus! baka sweet effect lang yan, di ka naman talaga gagastos ng ganun!')
so ayun. that's why yesterday, vday, i wasn't expecting any surprise. but, i still was a bit surprised with the fact that even he knows that we're going home late, still he went on with his plan. sweet. :) pero bumaligtad. sha din ay nasurprise ko. hehe.
he was texting me saying that i tell him daw if i'm home na. so i did. i also texted him "hope u too are home" even though i already knew of the surprise. para kunyari lang di ko pa alam. hehe. he then texted me "tell me if pede ako tumawag" because he was planning of calling me sa house using the phone booth just across our house. me knowing of the surprise, i told him "ako na lang tatawag." hehe. shempre di na nya alam gagawin nya. so he just replied "pagbuksan mo na lang ako ng pinto nyo." ayun jackpot. haha. nasurprise din sha.
when i opened the door, may bumungad sakin na dennis trillo with a bouquet of flowers and cadbury chocolate. haha. :) ang sweet not because of the flowers and chocolate (though they were factors too haha) but because of the effort. :) a really busy student, nursing na magsstudent council pa and his place is miles away from mine (paranaque - project 6 qc north and south o di ba) but still he found time to exert effort in buying a really nice bouquet of flowers and buying me my favorite chocolate then travel all the way to paranaque just to deliver all these. to think na kuripot pa 'tong taong 'to minsan ako pa nanlilibre pag kumakain kami. hehe. sobrang haba naman ng hair ko. heheh. :)
basta. the greeting "happy valentine's day" wasn't just a greeting to me yesterday. it was more than that. :) thanks to the people who lovingly took time and effort to greet me or to give gifts and of course, to spend time with me. :) truly, binuhusan talaga ako ni lord ng love. i love you guys. :)
